shop your city day + nola fashion week

this past saturday was "shop your city day". a few boutiques were involved in this fun day encouraging new orleanians to shop local! i went to hattie sparks to shop and view the fall/winter camilyn beth trunk show. i sipped on champs while i browsed...so fun! i found the perfect little black camilyn number to wear to my bachelorette night out on the town on november 1. i can't wait to wear it and share it with y'all soon! i also met the designer herself, sweet cami, at hattie's on saturday. it was a pleasure to finally meet her... we both agreed that it felt like we have known each other for months now due to our contact through social media!

on sunday i attended the camilyn beth spring/summer 2014 runway at the future home of the union hotel. y'all, it was truly amazing. cami did a beautiful job and I can't wait to wear some of the pretty dresses that came down the runway! she adds little unexpected details like gold buttons, ruffles, sequins, or pockets to each dress...swoon.
